Those Few Words
It has been about two years
I pull myself together and climbed up that stairs
No one knows and no one cares
But I was waiting on your call
You said we'll be close even if we're far
Those few words were my strength
And I hold onto it not letting it dent
All I could ever think about was your scent
That nostalgic feeling I could never forget
When you're next to me its like the world reset
My heart tend to shoot like jet
I love that adrenaline rush
I was obsessed with your touch
I could have turned to dust
Those memories kept me intact
But I was losing the little I got
Who are you what were we
That's my lingering thoughts
And to forget means it was no love from the start
