This World I'Ve Made

At the end of everyday I take This world that I have made Place it in my dresser drawer Safely tucked away It just wouldn't do To have it running loose Give it time to reflect Quiet and subdued This world that I have made I keep under lock and key Try my best to Not let it get away from me If I balk or if I blink It could easily run wild and free This world I've made, this world I keep Could end up in the drink Morning times we go for a drive Then in the end, bring it back again To save it for another day This world that I have made
