This World Is Mine
This world is mine
With all its dangers and its crimes
With all its dusks and its dawns
With all its troubles and its struggles
With all its smiles and its frowns
With all its beauty and its pride
With all its hopes and its broken dreams
With all its rises and its declines
With all its fails and its prevails
This world is mine
With all its truths and its lies
With all its bitter and its sweet
With all its fears and its scares
With all its permanence and its instability
With all its fires and its rain
With all its twists and its turns
With all its pardons and its revenge
With all its pleasures and its treasures
With all its hues, frames, and its scopes
With all its gifts and its prizes
This world is mine
With all its manifests and its mysteries
With all its shadows and its mirrors
With all its innocence and its condemnations
With all its inclinations and its ramifications
This world is mine
‘Til my last breath
I will shine
