This Valentine Day

This Valentine's Day
( to my lovely wife)

This Day when Cupid sneaks around
Flying high above
With arrows from his quiver
Lets fly with lasting love

He did that many years ago
Loosed that arrow, not a dart
I never saw it coming
It struck me squarely in the heart

I turned around and saw you
Was smitten right away
That was many years ago
Seems like only yesterday

Been through life together
The years finer than fine
Thank you cupid, for that arrow,
And for you, my Valentine
