This Too Shall Pass

I’m having muscle spasms in my hands
Since last night that I can’t stand
It causes me to have some pain
And it’s not even due to rain
The pill I took makes me sleep
Sucks for writing poetry
And I’m still on top of my bed I confess
Watching for the My Favorite Teacher Contest
I love the entries I’ve gotten so far
Poets have the golden hearts
I’m being taught myself right now
To take it easy and lay it down
So I will write when I wake
It may suck or may be great
But poetry is a great escape
From reality of pain today

I suffer daily from muscle cramps and other pains, I understand how you must feel. Poetry has it's own release so keep on writing Karen.

I pray for better days ahead for you, and release from the pain. I look forward to reading your poetry. You write more than quite a few of us. Thanks for giving me inspiration.
