This Too, Is New York

I saw the lines of people
looking at the photographs
of the attack of their city on 9-11.
People's faces showing their emotions,
remembering the full horrors of that day.

People with blood and ash on their faces.
People crying and scurrying away-literally running for their lives!
One fireman said, he was so busy working
he didn't feel the full impact
until he saw the photos!

He broke down.

The photos were taken by professinals
as well as amateurs with the proceeds
going to the children's fund.
It was an azazing scene.
This too, is New York!
