This Time Round

The road is long
but I will run
for I can see
you at the end.
I can't breathe,
my joints hurt.
I feel myself falling
but I ignore the scratches
and pain
and run.
To you,
my love,
my beloved.
I am tripping over myself
can't take another blow
I fall down,
only to feel your arms catch me,
this time round.
