This Time of Year
Lavender clouds streaked across the clear sky
With pink clouds looking like candy spread between
As the sunrise began, all was clearly seen,
Through the bare trees on the mountain sides
A spectacular view sprawled across the mountain tops
With a striking beginning to a new day
Multi-colors with crisp, cool air to breathe
An awakening here, that only this time of year can bring
