This Time He Wants To Be Sure
He has been searching…
seeking, yearning to find a lady who will not treat him wrong
one who will not string him along
like the last girl—who played him like a board game
who brought his heart sorrow, hurt and pain
tired of crying in his pillow, tired of feeling woe
he deeply wants to give love another try
to no longer feel broken and shy
This time, he wants to be sure…
that she will be the one to love him honestly
to be his true and only one—not a fantasy
This time, he wants to be sure…that she will never leave his side
and her love for him will be heartfelt—never to be denied
This time, he wants to be sure…
that their love for each other will be one to always endure
and will be sweet, tender and pure
This time, this time…he wants to be sure
