This the Day
Were this the day
were this the moment
culled from all moments...
Softly, so softly,
I'd slip down your brow
kiss away that furrow
staunch guardian of your mind
And gently fold myself inside.
Creep slowly down
your long neck,
then in reverse
my hungry mouth
impatient
would find and meet and break
your gated guard of treasure.
My lips would so tightly
fuse to yours
incapable of breaking
from lips that seem as mine.
Then, my dear,
free we'd drift
nothing more than us
you and me
forever would we be...
Floating free
us two as one
free
you and me
making us
over and over
and over again.
