This Steady, Slow Drizzle

Listen to poem:
Our little stream flows but a trickle most days but rises, runs, today -- all busy energy. Its perky change of pace does not match my current cast of face. Still, this steady slow drizzle has its damp uses -- laving dusty leaves to clean and shiny green. I am not thankful for gray skies -- they bring no joy as bright sunshine might... only sober, quiet periods for reflection unaffected by the colors of cheerier weather.

ooo; i'm there with you. I could actually see myself in that kind of day and state of mind. I've been there -- living in a cold climate. Nice poem!
