This Sanctuary
Breath
into my mouth
chant
ancient melodies
the whole
night
through
under the
dread moon.
Ease yourself
into this temple
built for you
by you
is you
where I worship
you in
veneration
adoration
reverence
deeply.
Where I kneel
humbly transfixed
by you
made whole
by you
entranced
by you
me
us.
So many
silent musings
of
wiser meanings
deeper places
ancient gleanings.
Immortal traces
your sighs
a concerto
a poem
a theatre
of sensations
bursting forth
echoing thunderously
as lightning
from mighty
Zeus.
This wonder
staggering in
its intensity
majesty
luminosity
possessing fully
this trance
permeating wholly
my intrepid
sanctuary.
