This Place Where Poems Live

This place where poems live I know -
Entry fee's a sonnet or so
Age creeps up and the words slow down
But oh,my friend the rhymes abound -
An old folks home where poets go

All the meters that we all know
Grace the poems from friend and foe
Some are crazy and some are sound -
This place where poems live

I'll write of rain and winds that blow
And love that died ten years ago
Sonnets that tell when she came 'round -
Rhyme that tells just how I found
After searching both high and low
This place where poems live

Great poem Larry. Unfortunately in the line " Rhyme that tells just how I feel" there are only 7 syllables. Thanks for entering my contest. Charlie
