This Perfect Face
The very form of grace,
whispered presence of,
in this lovely face,
my most precious love.
In the midst of Fall,
harbinger of snow,
rising above all
intention to bestow
illuminating grace,
intimations of,
in this precious face,
my unending love.
Christopher M. Swan, “Song of Susan,” 2008
