This New Year
this New Year will be different
I look forward to all things new
welcoming in a change
and that change is you
we don't need to go out
fight traffic and the crowd
don't need to go out dancing
where the music's loud
just you and I together
grill out and have some wine
your arms around me at midnight
as the folks sing Auld Lang Syne
this New Year will be different
I look forward to all things new
welcoming in a new year
