This, My Simple Prayer
May this, my simple prayer
please fill the air
May it reach far-flung lands
all people, everywhere
May no child cry
for lack of caring
Nor may there be hunger
for lack of folks sharing
May needless suffering cease
from rapacious wars and disease
May acts of kindness increase
and help bring about peace
May Truth reign supreme
lies and deception all end
May our hearts be raised upward
the Messiah He soon send
