This Mountain

I’ve finally reached the top, Of the mountain I’ve been on. I can now see what’s up ahead, Treacherous terrain as the rocky spread, Yet with thoughts of hope and peace in my head. My biggest trial is now behind me, Yet I must continue on my journey, But the greatest thing is, now I’m free! Up here I can clearly see, what’s below me, A thrilling vista overwhelming. I now soar like an eagle down the other side, Never having to descend its rocky paths, For this part was tread for me with Christ, As I’d accepted it each step up, on my behalf. Here is where I regain my jubilant laugh. Now I'm at the foot of another mountain, Not quite the same, but with certain similarities. I recognize the pain, but I climb, finding a difference. In my traveling up the first, I’ve been freely forgiven. Not having a life of ease, but of true peace and freedom. Christ’s love is up and down, left and right, it’s everywhere. Wherever you go, you can know, He’s already been there. Our paths for us were chosen by Him, and individually given. We had before accepted this plan, because of our trust in Him. So too He in us, so we fight to win this war against sin. He is coming for us, taking care of the vicious pain which sinks deeply in, Consecrating our suffered damage, which helps temper our attitudes from within. We are never alone, for we already have a heavenly home, Where our Holy Father dwells, with Whom we can know, love and follow. Healing comes as we obey His prophets, with truthful treasures as He has shown. He is calling and singing to you, “Come, oh come right back to Me. Attune your eyes and heart to look up and see. Avoid that trap, there is a new, higher, holier road here, ready to ascend!” Will you follow the reward road of eternal life and happiness, Or a troubled life, in-route to resend?
