This Mother's Prayer

Please God, please, give me the strength
To always go that extra length.
Please God, stay with me a while
Help me go that extra mile.
I do need help, I must admit
Before I throw a mother’s fit.
Please God, tell me what to do
About the little one who’s two.
Give me patience, love, and more
Please control the one who’s four.
Someday before I go to heaven
Let me know the one who’s seven.
I don’t mean to be a hog
With all these things I’m asking for.
But please God, help me catch that dog
That just ran out the kitchen door!

One of many daily prayers like clouds in the sky! Nicely done! Aloha! Rico
