Please God, please, give me the strength To always go that extra length. Please God, stay with me a while Help me go that extra mile. I do need help, I must admit Before I throw a mother’s fit. Please God, tell me what to do About the little one who’s two. Give me patience, love, and more Please control the one who’s four. Someday before I go to heaven Let me know the one who’s seven. I don’t mean to be a hog With all these things I’m asking for. But please God, help me catch that dog That just ran out the kitchen door!
