This Love of Mine

My lovers' first touch
embraced my heart
gentle like butterfly wings

my lovers' first kiss
explosive like light speed...
our spirits hurled
to outer galaxy

...our spirits seemed huge...
as we both looked back at earth...

...earth itself like a tiny marble...
...a childs toy discarded...

....this truth revealed...
witnessed until now 'ever spoken...

..a bolt of lightening revealed to me...
a truth realized my loves' discovery...

drawn to this love of mine
like a ferocious spark...
to a raging fire...

her eyes thrill me...
it is here where my
eternal strength resides...

a love once lay dormant...
a love uncovered...
from above discovered...

with her love my heart will reap...
everything about her, her scent
on me...I am in deep...

she has captured my emotions
yet set my soul free...
she has freed my spirit...

allowing me to be me...

I dance toward her smile
hold her gently...

I love this love
this love of mine

this truth together
we have freed
