This Loneliness Is Killing Us
Why are you a deep shade of sad-blue?
I’m feelin’ oh so unsure…reflect on me like a crystal-clear mirror . . .
I’ve been by your side for so long…I’ve been waiting on the other
side for so long
Where have you been for so long? Are you some kind of impious, devious
devil?
Give it your all…x3

Hear me as I call
Feeling lonely…
We have wept forlornly . . .
We’re not insane…
I’ll remain sane…
Hear me answering your call…x3 as I answer your call

Hear me as I fall…..
I’ve been there, done that –
I was that lonely, black cat…
You just gottah snatch that rat
Just stand tall…
Set us free from captivity…
Loneliness puts us in chains of vanity…
Be strong and bright forevermore
gaily soar with me some more
Give it your all…
Give it all your energy & be brave…
Give it your strength…catch us before we fall!
Give it your best…God, there’s billions of souls to save!
Give it your all…
Be strengthened by being near a friend’s side
Abide in His light…
Be positive with all of your might
fly like a peculiar bat,
Taking flight in the ebony sky –
there’s a time to explore
search for hope in store
On our own, all alone
soon, we’ll be happy instead…
we will not be doused in dread
But, together, we’ll shower down healing rain
We’ll feed the hungry people w-with bread
Everyone feels lonely at some point…
but, our bones won’t get out of joint
Flames of uncertainty devour us…
ruining our self-esteem…
I’ll fix your broken dream
But, you gottah get up and try…
Don’t cry…you won’t die . . .
We’re in the same, boisterous bus –
we’re on each other’s team…
don’t weep, don’t scream
You need hope in mind to spread your wings and fly
Stand tall…
Give it your all…
Graze in your own maze…
Spell-bound in a graceful gaze…
Seeking God’s praise…
Catch me before I fall…
Hear us as we call! ~
Give it your all though I’ve left you…
Without a trace…without a trace…
Don’t fall on your face…keep your pace
Give in to your strength…
GIVE IT YOUR ALL…
Though you’ve been tossed to and fro…(I know you’re feeling low)
Here and there…in all directions…like a children’s ball
Let your inner inspiration glow and grow . . . . . .
.
(Let your optimistic spirits show….
Unveil yourself…get out of your shell, you know?
Get out of your comfort zone
We’re on our own, but never, ever alone
You’re stronger than you realize
You’re the one and only that I prize
You’re not alone…
You’re not a broken bone
You’re not a failure…
Your future ain’t a blur…why are you a deep shade of sad-blue?
Though you’re left without a single, little clue…that’s for sure)
You left me hanging on the last string – you shed a sad tune
on my song
You let my tragedy sting…sing to me…come on, sing to me your lullaby, darling
