This Life We Lead
THIS LIFE WE LEAD.
This life I lead, some say is not that pleasant,
And that my ways, are that of a loner,
Yet in my world is a place, where their, maddeness is not present,
And of My mind, at least I am the owner.
Because I do not conform to the ways of society,
And my thoughts, differ from theirs,
Are they so ignorant, because I choose another variety?
Their needs for lies and deception are without end,
Of wich I have no need or care,
But theirs is relentless, it consumes them,
Their will so weak that it bends,
Then forever are they condemned.
So it is that I choose not to partake of that world,
And walk in my own,
Where at least truth has meaning, life has reason,
And a few might be shown,
A place in this world, where honesty is known.
Such is the life that I lead, of wich, I am content,
And those who don’t no it,
I pity their torment.
