This journey of mine

This journey of mine 

Has been a long one

And I am truly grateful

That I am still around

But some of my friends 

Have already passed on

Way before it should 
have been 

There time to move on

And it is really hard to 
believe 

That they are gone

Yet there spirits will 
always live on 
in this heart of mine
until it is my time to
leave this earth behind

I go back and forth with believing anything exists after this life and thats too depressing LOL, so then I go back to believing I might be reunited with those I have loved ... seems the older I get I know more who have passed on then those here. Time to make new friends ... smile ... glad you've come to the Soup with your writing and hope to read more soon!!
