This Journey

You and I what a team we made the challenges we'd overcome. Such confidence I had in us sailing the sea of life. Alone I'm left to navigate this ocean filled with doubt. Not sure in my abilities this lack of your security. Each day a battle to move along near mortal wounds to heal. No choice would seem is left to me this life on balance a mystery.

Thank you for commenting. I don't regard myself a poet. I recently lost my precious Wife to cancer. I put some of my feelings down on paper to deal with the tremendous grief I feel over losing her. We were together over 34 years. I see you are rather prolific in writing poetry. Had you lost a spouse as well?
