This is where the Joy is

Ah, I see it now
Yes, I feel it now
This is where the Joy is
Here in this present moment
I can't change my past
I can't leap into the future
But I can take this Gift of Now
And enjoy it's unfolding beauty
And if I string them all together
Like the twinkly lights on a Christmas tree
I'll illuminate the memories
Create a Life of Magic and Mystery
To experience all these Blessings
These miracles of Love and Light and Hope
They inspire Faith in every heart
They inspire Joy in every Soul
Ah, I know it now
Yes, I am connected to it All
This Universe that God created
Is beyond the mind... Into infinity
We can't change our past
We can only imagine the future
But here, here my friends is where the Joy is
We can magnify it through our choices
And if we string them all together
Like the twinkly lights on a Christmas tree
We'll illuminate the memories
