I walk so far I feel the heat from the desert I go cheap with the desperate Keeping them guessing am I really alive or just feeding my image A lot times in my mind I’m seeing the devil Tempt me But God sent me 3 books same price as the whiskey I still drink but I ponder on a good read

a really wonderful poem; short & tight and packs a good punchline message; a man who is a bit " lost" , shall we say, can always READ and enlighten himself with a good book, and the books are quite affordable, espclly. in thrift shops, etc. .......keep on writing, Keorie !
