This is our fun (out in the sun)

Fields, harboring dreams,
feeding the soul,
singing along
Now, more than it seems,
outside the door,
what could be wrong
I promised to be there
when nobody else was around
Lost in the shadows
where desperate wishes were found
Eyes, look to the sky,
shaded in blue,
softer than air
Clouds, whispering low,
satin and silk,
woven to share
We danced in the clover
when springtime had welcomed us in
But felt only winter,
the cold taking rest on our skin
Still, we'll always be,
left of the storm,
out in the sun
Smiles, endlessly free,
for you and me,
this is our fun
