This Is Not Good

Unable to live with mistakes
And grow, or run away any more,
I drop to scream at my reflection--
Vacant eyes staring naked and scared,

Under addictions’ blanket of comfort,
Over this stinking ground of being
Is delicious horror knowing
I know it will never end.

Awful and always bad thoughts,
Vicious maniacs come for revenge,
Unable to stop these hateful
Inmates in a damaged mind.

Reach for self and God,
Most likely both the same.
Desperate to not believe
My tomorrow is more than a hole.
