This Is Not a Test
How can man destroy his only home.
The only land that he has ever known.
You must be blind to not see the greed
and blinder still not to see the need.
Mother earth will die and most don't care.
We search for energy almost anywhere.
We make mistakes, that's what humans do.
The Gulf of Mexico dies for the red, white, and blue.
For corporations that claim they do whats right.
The government agrees and helps them in there plight.
We need the oil they say so drill they must.
But how can you not know it's money they lust.
They try to convince us it's not so bad.
This is the worst mistake they've ever had.
Is California next you have to wonder?
Do we placidly wait for there next blunder?
I have no confidence in those that rule.
I can't stand the lies, the words of a fool.
Do we go on believing it's all for the best.
This is an emergency, this is not a test.
