This Is Me
The wisest of the wise
listens to the trees, the wind,
the rustling of the leaves, while
watching for the butterflies.
The wisest of the wise knows
That being vulnerable is the
only defense we have against
the others. so she spills her
heart, singing her truth to the
world.
The wisest of the wise has the
best arsenal of all against those who
want to generalize, stereotype, and hate
others. She can defeat anger, hostility,
and greed with genuineness, pureness, goodness,
and love.
The wisest of the wise holds up her sword of magnificence
not in a show of power, but in love, and admiration for others.
They say, "This is me, take me as I am." This strikes terror
in those who have not yet found this confidence in themselves
The wisest of the wise, listens, and learns, and helps them to
find their me true self too.
