This Is Life

This is life,
Nothing is fair,
There are no free-bees,
No one to help you up when you fall.

This is life,
Make the right decisons,
Always think,
Expect the unexpected.

This is life,
No one looks after you.
No one tells you what to do,
No one relys on you.

This is life,
You need to know right from wrong,
You need to rely on yourself.
Be your own person.

This is life,
Somethings need to end,
You lived a good life,
Because u were you,
And thats all we want.

Very insightful words. There is conflict within these words. There is the independent that is laced with something like abandonment or anger. I think we've all been at this point in our lives when we want to depen on no one or nothing but our own skills. Very well wriiten. My best to you, Charlie

Becky, I truly appreciate the insightful views of our life cycle into poetic form by your wonderfully gifted hands. Really good poem. MPK
