This is how the rich win the war

this is how the rich win the war

this is how the rich win the war
       magnifying differences,
    triggering all prejudice
this is how the rich win the war

this is why you're destined to lose
     reflecting what has been before
     figuring there is no more
this is why we're destined to lose
    these mind machinations
       way out on a limb
   they' tightening the vice
        my head caves in

this is how the rich win the war

success will surely destroy you
there's no other way around it
you will leave it like you found it
success will certainly kill you
      these mind machinations
     telling me I cannot win
my head is in the the vice
        still the light gets in

this is why we're destined to lose
this is how the rich when the war

     they will eat you alive
slowly 'cause they' got no teeth
    it begins on the inside
  'till you're prayin' for release

this is how the rich win the war

Thanks for sharing this... exposing your thoughts through your unique poetic style. Meanwhile, I greet you with the love of the Lord, expressed by John 3:16 of the Bible, "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." Be blessed.
