This Is Earth
There is a world
That we live in
A world of war considered by some
To others, a citadel of peace
A prison of pain
A kingdom of beauty
Sticks that bless souls with death
The evergreen trees dancing to the music of the wind
The music, the meadows and hills
The buttery yellow lily in the valleys
Tell stories of a rapturous society
Isn't this world of mine beautiful
Men of same blood at conflict with each other
While cooking dinner with hypocritical smiles
Love seemingly shared only a facade
Isn't this world of mine quite mad
