This Height of Irony

There’s too much life inside of me, so much to feel, to hear and see, so many ways that I could grow, so many rows I need to hoe, I barely have the energy! And meanwhile, sky’s a canopy for Earth, so filled with poetry it’s more than I can hope to know! There’s too much life. I walk with all humanity, and find this height of irony: Too rushed to ever take it slow, while I forge on, a dynamo, the months and years before me flee; there’s too much life! April 9, 2017

This should be published. At the very least added to any educational book on poetry. I love this form. This is a diamond perfectly cut.

Enjoyed your poem. It's a great problem to have, isn't it? Having too much life to live and too many things calling you - so much better than seeing the days crawl by in bleak boredom.

Wonderful insights that ring so true and feel more prevalent with age...why is that?..lol Your beautiful aura shines in All of your poetry Andrea...you are inspiring and your words a lovely reminder to appreciate the ' right now' rather than rushing to the next and the next.. for they disappear quickly, never to be experienced again. Fantastic writing :-) lynn xxx have a happy week :-)

I can feel that there is too much life inside you..too much love for life...for humanity...for nature...I can understand how life is fast ..never slow enough to relax and enjoy it...calmly...as well..as if one wants todo more of it..of that passion trapped inside..but we cant stop time.I can relate to your poem sweet lady. You do have a positive energy..and transmit it so well in between your busy life.Hugs.

It does seem to be that the longer we get in years, the more we want to do and the less time we have to do it in!! Well-observed and thought-provoking stuff. Great piece.

life is what we make of it after each failure, there is much life..someone once told me " the world will judge you on how you handle problems, it's the one thing we all have" so yes there is much life
