This Girl On My Mind

The clouds tell me I should not follow, Every night to day I stay following my dreams, For some reason I find you here, All I do is stare as my heart steers, The ray beams shine in the darkest of times, One day I'll have you in my arms here I hear the rain cry. I follow the stars the clouds hide, I want to know why, why you here, The heart is beating as waves rip inside, I'm pouring out as you stare, I try.. I try but tell me should I show you what lies in your eyes, As we dance under the moon wishing we were, Counting the flaws we want to run and hide, I'm a dreamer seeking what I found. If the planet collide I think we be together in time? I'm just a poet writing his insides out to the world to see, May May be the month of life we see. If our worlds are different and opposite, Why can we live in peace between the war we bring, I love you wait I lust for you, May I say what I been looking for is in front of me, So please I lay my defense down, To see what you bring.
