This Friendship I Would Cherish

You were there
In my downtime,
you were there
In times of pain and sorrow
One direction track
In our thinking never existed
Still, this friendship I would cherish,
A treasure of tomorrow.

Many days were rainy therein,
and many days had
Glowing rays
Of the sun.
Never regretted
A single moment,
Life could not be
More a subject of fun

I wish I could try
To draw my heart out there,
The palette of your
Peaceful blue sky
We were there to
Reach one another
In times of need,
Like the downfall of water
With an inner cry.
