This Dusk
This Dusk ***
Night begins tipping its massive
Glance into my window,
Its wispy bangs protecting early
Sight of the diamond highlight
Topping its black pupil, which also
Carries a dimmed reflection of me,
Seeking its lovely solace;
A picturing of the hymns to which I listen...
Comforting
Night comes with its still
Surrounding arms, hugging like
No human will, for long patient
Hours, without any other deeds to call it away;
Extending stars’ shine to kiss my cheeks and
Preface dreams to stroll the soon sleeping hours —
A budding in sub-conscious mystery and
The magical, as yet untraveled, galaxies
That embrace my wonder —
So blessed and nurtured
...Comes
The moon,
Even beyond clouds,
To witness prayers.
