This Day
On this day
Think of those without
A family without a home
The homeless hoping for a meal
Think of those
The runaway struggling to make their way
All year we look the other way
But today, this day
Kindness may dry a tear
Place smiles upon face
One word turns away rage
On this day
Think of others
