Kim Rodrigues Poet Free verse

This Advice Could Save Your Life

tiger with frying pan hands
seems innocent enough
but
don’t tickle the tiger
handle him
rough

stay
at the tail end
impress
with force

smack him hard
and back away
         smile
only after
you get back home
a million miles
      away
where you can
   safely
show off your bravery
