Thirty Years To Me You Have Been

This thing is love
This thing is strange

It pushes the mind on
The heart it strains

It can break the sky
Make the world feel as small and fragile as a one inch glass ball

When it comes to us it can make the brave so weak and the tall so small

This thing I have for you is love. For thirty years it’s been a light that’s never dimmed, for thirty years to me you’ve simply been everything.

I may not know much, may not have seen so much but I understand two things that mean much more than what you can see, feel or touch.

I love you and you love me.

Together we’ve been in life, just you and me. Together we’ve seen all of what we’ve been and can be. I’ll love as strong and deep as I do right now, as I did back then and will do for eternity.
