Thirty Years

It will be thirty years tomorrow Thirty years since she said she loved him. Thirty years since she found him giving things to her sister that were only meant for a husband and wife to share. Thirty years of lying next to him, knowing he was waiting for forgiveness but refusing to give it to him. Thirty years of hoping she was hurting him as much as he had hurt her. Now she has forgiveness, now she can give him love, but now it is too late. Tonight she will sleep alone and pray that he can feel her love, wherever he is.
