Thirst Within Grows
Thirst within grows, seeking the light
Of what use are eyes, without sight
Unseeking heart is radiant
At all times, joyous and content
Throbbing in rapture, day and night
Teleported thus to new found heights
From where presence does not alight
In rhythm with the joy current
Thirst within grows
Our trust knowing all will be right
Ejects ego, the source of fright
Pulse of love, burning filament
Thus in its native element
Ascends in silence, bite by bite
Thirst within grows
