Thinking of You At Christmas

I thought, I would write you Christmas card
Inscribed with words from my heart
I thought, I would seal it with a hug and a kiss
But then I remembered it was Christmas Day
So I thought, I would pop around and give you a gift
Wrapped in a box
With a red bow tied with string
But then I recalled the greatest gift is the King
So I bent on my knees and ask him please
To send you a Christmas gift that will make you please
Because the greatest gift, I could give to you
Is sending you a card that's inscribed to my Sweetheart.
'Merry Christmas'.
