Thinking of You

Thinking of you

Frozen in layers of lemon drop frosting
Running for love on the snow covered lawn
Longing for all that this evening does offer
Finding my dreams all begin with the dawn

Dancing to songs on the edge of tomorrow
Asking a question I hope will be true
Pausing a moment to smile your direction
Writing this poem while thinking of you
