Thinking of You
I Sit
The intention to read
But then I hear that blunt sound (it''s beautiful)
And I thought: It''s been a year since I fell in love
And the sun now, like back then
Rises and sets
But now without it''s warm glow...
(Yet another change from a year ago)
Is sorrow to be set on me eternally?
(Perhaps a smile is called for)
As jealousy, hate and bitterness are no longer friends of mine
;Such companions took months to leave
Now, only when knelt before loneliness do I find use for those pictures stored in my attic
Well --- Picture
But one left now
And you, the artist who painted with pastels
Have now fled
Leaving behind a colourless room
And the remaining outline of a picture that could have been
