Thinking Heart

The heart that developed a mind of its own,
That learned to reason
To think ahead
To not be swayed by its own pumped emotion
To not to be blinded with what it can't fathom
To not to wish to control
To not to want to live forever
Or to forever own

To learn to be like the mind
Be full or be less
Be nor evil, nor unreasonable
To fair and be kind
For when the heart learned to reason
Emotion grew from being a useless fool
To a life handling tool
