Thinking Back

I would rather be at that moment When we sang our first duet Words came so smoothly to our lips Interlinking thoughts and feelings We wrote deeply from the heart and soul Every idea danced and played music to our ears We were uninterrupted then Until a siren seduced you with her treacherous songs You were spellbound by her charms She made you feel youthful again Falling deeper into the black hole she created You persisted in your pursue to find her truth Then she left without a trace Taking a piece of you with her Leaving behind a trail of miseries Accompanied by unforeseeable trials Thrown upon you in some strange karma theories You handled them pretty well Guided by God's blessings and light shining on you You were lost then but now you were found… I would rather be at that moment When we danced our duel Ideas flowed so seamlessly to our minds Intertwining imaginations and inspirations We wrote truthfully from the heart and soul Every line was carefully constructed and laid out We were inseparable then Until a banshee haunted you with her past memories Wailing in your soft ears about her undoing She reminded you of your scars again Opening wounds that were temporarily healed You persevere in the end to move forward You left your footprints in hidden blueprints A trail of breadcrumbs leading towards a light Accompanied by blessings in disguise Invisible to you in some strange karma coincidences You prayed deeply on your faith Guided by God's blessings and light shining on you You were lost then but now you were found…
