Think, Thick, Tick-Tock

Tell the time that ticks
that the 'tick-tock' shall sound still
when nature dares to tilt.
Its bong, another to beat.
Tell the time that treats
another to a memory's feast
though it may yet beat,
soon, a course when memories feast.
