Things To Love and To Hate
Whispers of morning sun on wild distant hills
Lush green grass with dewdrops in the sweet Spring air
Wind ruffling the sea line and dresses with frills
Skinny dipping in cool fresh lakes if you dare!
The circle of life in the animal world
The symbolic flag of each country unfurled
The laughter of children enjoying each day
The thoughts of the Father as I start to pray
Injustice and perjury live in the air
The hustle and bustle that keeps you from sleep
How so many people just simply don't care
Of the violence and wars and people who weep
The tyrants who rule because they have money
Weather on days when it doesn't stay sunny
Intolerance of others just for their face
Indiff'rence of suffering due to one's race
