Things I’ll never say aloud
I don’t really like texting first but I will if I can talk to you
Sometimes I wonder why you won’t just text first
It kind of bothers me
But I’ll never say that aloud
I really like holding hands
Sometimes I wonder why you always pull away
It also kind of bothers me
But I’ll never say that aloud
I like calling on the phone
I might suggest it but I probably won’t call first because it scares me
You haven’t ever suggested it
And that kind of thing bothers me a little
But I’ll never say that aloud
I wish you could read me sometimes
Like know what I like and want and tell how I’m feeling
It only bothers me a little
But still I’d never say that aloud
I wish you knew that you still slightly scare me
You would know that I’m trying
It bothers me a bit
But I’d never say that aloud
I wish you knew how much I think about you
You would know what I feel for you and how frequently you invade my brain
But I’ll never say that aloud
I feel like you don’t really like me sometimes
Like you’d do anything but defend me or act like we’re actually together
And it does bother me
But I’ll never say that aloud
I know you’re trying so I’ll never say any of that aloud
And I love you
So how could I ever say these things aloud?
