Things I'Ll Miss the Most

Things I’ll Miss The Most

When my life on earth is through,
The thing I’ll miss the most is you.
I’ll miss your warming smile,
That made my life worth while.
I’ll miss our lovely home,
And how it’s fit the way we’ve grown.
I’ll miss our arbor swing,
Listening to the bird sing.
I’ll miss our precious little boy,
On his stomach, playing with his toys.
I’ll miss the flowers in the spring,
And the fragrance that they bring.
I’ll miss the hazy days of June,
Walking to the light of the moon.
I’ll miss the dinners by candle light,
And our silly little fights.
I’ll miss church on Sunday morn,
And my favorite shirt what is worn.
I’ll miss picnics in the park,
And catching lighting bugs after dark.
I’ll miss the rain and the snow,
And the friends I used to know.
I’ll miss all my favorite things,
Like those spicy buffalo wings.
I’ll miss watching the seasons change,
And the furniture you rearrange.
I’ll miss the life that we shared,
And the first time you showed you cared.
I’ll miss everything that will be new,
And not being able to share it with you.
